The desktop lifespan of a typical tryware on my system is about 10-20 minutes, the time it takes to complete the installation, launch the program, and, after a few minutes of frustration, reach for the Add or Remove Programs panel.Īlthough I feel the urge to start ranting about bad software (what makes software bad, why it is so pervasive, and so on), let me do something useful and mention the applications, which I actually like. ![]() Unfortunately, most software I install belongs to a category called crap.
